World Scouting launched their new brand on the 5th of August. The new brand includes an updated fleur-de-lis emblem of which assets and information will be made available online regarding its usage. The second part of the brand is World Scoutingโ€™s unique and colourful identity with the textured elements, colours, shapes, a simplified Fleur-de-lis, and a new name.

We have been part of the process on the back end over the past years and have been in discussions with them on what this means for us and the other countries with brands aligned to World Scoutingโ€™s. World Scouting will be sharing that information and discussing specific details at the upcoming World Scout Conference later this month. Only after the World Scout Conference, will we be able to strategise and make decisions on what this means for us.
At present, there will be no imminent brand changes, and we will continue to use our uniquely South African Scout brand as is. The SCOUTS SA logo will not change (meaning โ€œfleur-de-lisโ€ with the rope + wording SCOUTS South Africa).
