To Aunty Dot

” You always told us “”Be Prepared”” but we were not prepared for your passing. We were not ready to let go” A quote from one of our Scouts

You have touched so many lives since you started on 26 June 1998. Today 24 June 2018 two day short of 20 years. You were a inspiration to everybody, not just to our Scouts, helpers, friends and family, but the whole community.

Wherever you went and mentioned your name, everybody always spoke about you not ever giving up on anything in life. You always got up when life knocked you down.  A real true inspiration to one and all.

You were not just a Pack Scouter, you were a friend, a partner in crime and a mother.

There are so many fond memories that will always be treasured.  From camping at Rietriver, getting flooded out, catching snakes, lively campfires to the last one I spent with you at Akela 2016. Wow what an amazing women you are. Fighting your own battle with illness you went out and did what you went for. To learn and have fun. I can still see you playing the one game. You outrun some of those other people. You did as many activities as possible.

There will truly be no other so dedicated to Scouts as you were.

You will sadly be missed.
