Greetings!
Jeff has worked hard to revive the Adult Training Team and associated courses for our Region. However, he now wishes to step down from the position due to availability challenges. We are pleased to announce that he is not lost from the Movement, and will continue to be a member of the Adult Training Team. Thank you, Jeff, for all your hard work in what has been a challenging atmosphere. This role is possibly the most difficult to replace in Scouting as the holder requires to be a 4 bead Woodbadge holder. However, we will accept applications from 3 beaders who will undertake to complete training for their 4th bead.
IMPORTANT: Electronic and hardcopy applications will close on Tuesday, 3rd of February at 12h00.
Role description
To lead, manage and coordinate effective Adult Leader Training and development in the Region in accordance with SCOUTS South Africa (SSA) Constitution, Organisational Rules and Policies. Application information
All Adult Members are invited to nominate a fellow member, or apply themselves, for the position if they hold 3 or 4 beads. However, if they hold 3 beads, they must undertake to complete the training for their 4th bead. Otherwise, this position is open to all persons who are active members in good standing, who meet the criteria given in the Organisational Rules, who feel that they can fulfil the role description and want to take up the challenge.
